Mary-Ellen Proctor: author, activist, conservationist. Recently debuting with her novel Change of Heart, the first in a trilogy, Proctor draws on her rich life experiences for her writing. Originally from Prince Rupert, B.C., she has been a forester, a women's rights advocate, and a leader in large-scale industrial projects. After retiring, she focuses on stirring hearts and souls through her novels. A lover of the outdoors, Proctor now spends her days writing and sailing with family and friends, continuing to impact lives profoundly.
